Asian Lettuce Wraps

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 teaspoons olive oil

  • 1 pound 93% lean ground turkey

  • 1 onion

  • 3 cloves garlic

  • ½ cup teriyaki sauce

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar

  • ½ tablespoon ground ginger

  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce

  • 1 red bell pepper

  • 1 (8 oz) can water chestnuts, diced

  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced

  • 1 large head butter lettuce

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat olive oil in large pan over medium heat. Add turkey and onion and cook until turkey is browned and onion and cook until turkey is browned and onion is translucent, about 7 minutes.

  2. Stir in garlic, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, ginger and Sriracha sauce.

  3. Stir in bell pepper, green onion and water chestnuts. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until soft.

  4. To serve, spoon ½ cup of turkey mixture on lettuce.
